Handmade Plate

I may have to make a set of these.. It took about 10 minutes.

Feeling creative today for some reason, so I just colored on a plate. What do you think??? Plate courtesy of Ikea fifty nine cent plate and colors from Sharpie free had them around the house... Total cost o.59 cents plus labor..

You are so creative - such cute plates, who knew sharpies would be so useful!! And I love the Barnes and Noble book post too. Great idea.

Hi! Came here via LDS Women Bloggers. Love love love the plates! (And I love IKEA, so what a bonus.) I may have to make some of these with my girls... although, do you know if the Sharpie holds up in the dishwasher? (I assume it does, but I thought I'd check.)

I am going to hang them on the wall. I was talking about it at work and the consensus was they probably would need fired, sharpie eventually does come off, just look at the bottom of my casserole pans from funerals.

Tracy,
I don't have a pattern at all, I would blow up the pic and look and see how you would paint with acrylics, it really is a blob. If you want to eat off of them I would fire them, to be on the safe side.. Use a permanent sharpie to define what you want as far as intricate design or outlining.
